Client Testimonial
Ed Tharp was an excellent fit for my client's project, a history of the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation in Thomasville, Ga. Always professional and attentive, Ed began his work by listening thoughtfully to us about our book concept, asking good questions, and making suggestions about how we could improve our ideas.
Most impressive was Ed's ability to balance the book’s accessibility with its sophistication; it is a beautiful piece. And even when there were disagreements and hold ups during the process, he responded with kindness, patience and unwavering professionalism.
I've heard so many comments since publication about the book's gorgeous layout. He truly is a talented designer.
Role
I collaborated with the TEF and author to develop the design of the 92-page case bound book and dust jacket. I also made suggestions on how to improve the overall flow of the book. I collected print quotes, provided print ready files, reviewed proofs, attended press checks, and helped manage the project from concept to completion.
