Design three supplements for The Typographic Circle’s magazine Circular. The supplements must feature three famous designers and typographers that have given talks for the circle. Search the Circle’s website to decide who you want to feature.

Pre-flight

After looking on the Typographic Circle website, I picked out a number of designers who I would send a letter. The letter would ask them 3 questions:
1.) Please draw a circle however you prefer and send it back 2.) What’s your favourite typeface 3.) What’s your favourite colour 4.) What’s your favourite medium to use
From their responses, I complied the information and their circles. The most profound consequence of the exercise was that it was interesting to see how different each of their responses were. Proving that every designer, typographer or any individual would always produce a circle that is unique.
The other answers to their questions determined how I would approach the design aspect of each publication.
