About

A 'Coffee Table Book' about an ancient, historical Fort in Pakistan that dates from the Ist Century A.D. Client wanted us to tell the tale of the Fort in an engaging way - heavy on pictorials and light on text - with focus firmly on travelers and history buffs.

Image was cleaned up and composed from an old photo of the Fort dating from 19th century. Print Design throughout the book intentionally used a lot of negative space around the text so that the pictures get maximum spotlight.

Part of the section entitled 'Deterioration', this is a view of the drive up and into the Fort with its massive, fortifying walls showing signs of age. Composed in Illustrator from an angle to showcase the height and the imposing pillar.

A Section Divider. This aerial view photo was cleaned up in Photoshop and optimally placed within the Print Design to link different sections of the book together.

A double page photo spread of the Fort Museum. Image spruced up in Photoshop.
